That Bad Boy T. C. Karns 1901

This 96 page book is a primer on how to run a classroom. A number of examples of how to manage unruly students, "That Bad Boy", are given. Perhaps quite simplistic when examined from a 21st century point of view but then again, the problems faced by teachers in the early 20th century probably do not compare to the issues facing today's educators.

Several editions of this book were published beginning in 1901. Shown here are the latter book and a 1915 issue. Both books were published by a small firm, Claude J. Bell of Nashville, Tennessee as part of the Teacher's Help Series.
