The Hi Henry's Minstrels had their first
performance in 1879. Henry started in the theatre as a
bandleader and a cornettist with the Wallace Sisters in
1872.
The company was founded by Hiram Patrick Henry (1844-).
They were active for more than thirty years. Their shows
played at various theaters throughout the country.
Hi Henry's troupe did several unauthorized performances of
Peck's Bad Boy in the early 1880's.
