This book has the same text as Gems of Modern Wit and Humor which was published by the Monarch Book Company in 1903. It is unclear when it was published and by whom since there is no publisher imprint on the title page.

This anthology starts with an introduction by Robert Burdette.

George W. Peck contributed three short vignettes to this volume.

Here is a deluxe edition of this title. It is 9.75 x 7.25 with numerous "art photo-tone" portraits and line drawn cartoons. There is no publisher noted anywhere within the book. It only indicates the 1903 copyright holder L. G. Stahl.
